A collection of abstract landscapes on gallery wrapped canvases.  Each painting starts with a collaged paper base that gives each one a unique texture.  Acrylic paint is applied with broad strokes and finishing touches are added with acrylic and alcohol inks.

 

The horizon collection reflects my journey and exploration of becoming a full-time artist.   There are so many possibilities

on the horizon, it can be a bit overwhelming.  Constructing these pieces has helped me sift through the possibilities, process

the strong emotions that come with growth and transformation, hone my art techniques and declare myself as an artist.

This body of work is very dear and near to my heart, and it has taken me awhile to let them go,

but Ithey are now available in the shop ready to find a new home.
